The New A-Rod

The latest in a line of successful A-Rods, is Super Bowl XLV MVP, Aaron Rodgers.  As told by many sports writers, analysts, and the John Clayton’s of the world, Green Bay has had a love/hate relationship with Rodgers since he was drafted out of Cal in 2005.  Using their sole first round pick on a replacement for an aging Brett Favre, led to chants of off with your head to the decision makers in Green Bay.   Fans were perplexed that their team used a first round draft choice to replace a guy who just finished the season throwing for over 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns. Big Ben vs. A-Rod III

A-Rod III brings Green Bay back to Super Bowl

The second most popular Big Ben and the third most popular A-Rod, (behind Alex Rodriguez and Andy Roddick), will face off in Super Bowl XLV.  Two young quarterbacks under the age of 30, each with a winning playoff record, in a showdown that will more than likely break any ratings records.  The Sports Minion still can’t believe SI’s Peter King predicted this game, and I’m puzzled how I went 0-2 in my predictions this past weekend, but one thing’s for sure, we can expect a tremendous game.  The Sports Minion early prediction:  Packers 27 – Steelers 24.  We’ll match it up later this week…
